Synthetic rubber composition gives EPDM properties TPO cannot match in certain conditions — extreme temperature cycling, complex geometry, and retrofit over aged substrates. Active EPDM experience on occupied federal correctional facilities.

    45-mil and 60-mil. Fully adhered, mechanically fastened, and ballasted. Temperature range -40°F to 300°F. Excellent UV and ozone resistance. Seam tape and bonding adhesive — no heat-welding required.

  • Where EPDM Wins

    Complex geometry with multiple penetrations. Cold-climate facilities. Retrofit over existing EPDM or BUR. Occupied facilities where no open-flame equipment is approved.

    EPDM seam tape and termination bar sealant are the primary maintenance focus on annual visits. Properly maintained EPDM regularly achieves 25-30 year service life.
